We’ve explored a lot of Victoria and have come up with what we think is a great 2 jam packed days of fun for those visiting Victoria, BC. This itinerary is not for the faint-of-heart, but, if you are a go-getter, then we know you can tackle it!

2 Jam Packed Days in Victoria, BC

Day 1: Explore Downtown and Inner Harbour

Breakfast:

9am – Start your day with a hearty breakfast at Diner Floyd’s downtown. Known for its delicious brunch menu, there’s something for everyone at Floyd’s

Morning:

10:30am – Spend the morning exploring the Royal BC Museum which showcases the natural and cultural history of British Columbia.

Lunch:

1pm – Stop for lunch at the Sandwich Corner Cafe, a scrumptious quick stop eatery.

Afternoon:

1:45pm – Visit the famed Victoria Bug Zoo, where you can hold stick bugs, centipedes, cockroaches, and even tarantulas for those who are feeling brave!

2:45pm – Take a leisurely stroll along Government Street and check out all the local shops.

5pm – Try axe throwing at Forged Axe Throwing, their amazing staff will guide you every step of the way and by the end you’ll be doing trick shots!

Dinner:

6:30pm – Dinner at Earls Kitchen & Bar, a delicious restaurant located on the corner of the Bay Centre.

8:15:pm – Take a stroll along the Inner Harbour, where you can take in the beautiful city night waterfront views.

Morning:

9am – Hop on the Butchart Gardens Express Shuttle that departs from the Empress.

(The Express Shuttle times vary. Double check the Butchart Website to confirm times)

9:40am – Grab a coffee and a morning snack from the Butchart Gardens Cafe.

10am – Wander around the world-renowned Butchart Gardens. Explore the stunning floral displays, themed gardens, and enjoy a peaceful morning in this beautiful setting.

12pm – Back to the Bus to head back downtown

 

*For a more leisurely stroll through the gardens we recommend taking a taxi which takes approx 25 mins – 30 mins from the Empress Hotel plus you can depart at your own time.

*Note if you are visiting during the winter season Butchart Gardens does not open until the late afternoon.

 

Lunch:

1pm – Indulge in the famous afternoon tea at The Fairmont Empress. Enjoy a selection of teas, sandwiches, and pastries in a luxurious setting.

Afternoon:

3:30pm – Take a walk through Victoria’s historic Chinatown, visit Fan Tan Alley, and explore the vibrant shops and markets.

Dinner:

6pm – End your day with a delicious dinner at Vista 18, Victoria’s restaurant in the clouds. Located on the 18th floor of Le Chateau Victoria with a beautiful view of Victoria’s Harbour.
