Dinner:

Enjoy dinner at a Victoria classic, the Old Spaghetti Factory. This family friendly eatery features traditional Italian entrees amid turn-of-the-century decor.

Morning:

Start the day off by grabbing lunch that you can bring along for a day full of adventures. After having done this plan ourselves we recommend stopping at a Subway to grab some sandwiches that can be eaten later in the day.

Once you’ve arrived at the Malahat SkyWalk grab a coffee and a snack from their welcome center and then start wandering towards the SkyWalk itself. Enjoy the lovely nature walk and spectacular view from the top of the tower and don’t forget to try their slide on the way down!

Afternoon:

Stop at Goldstream Provincial Park on the way back in. Explore the trails that intertwine amongst 600 year old fir trees and broadleaf evergreens, waterfalls, and a visitors center.

Dinner:

Personally, after a long day of adventures we’d stop at a McDonal’s for some chicken nuggets however for those who want something a little fancier we recommend going to Bin 4. A modern grill offering inventive, locally sourced burgers, hand cut fries and draft brews.

Breakfast:

Start the day off with breakfast at the Denny’s in Colwood and enjoy a delicious hearty meal.

Morning:

Adventure among the trees at Wildplay. Try the various courses ranging in difficulty, including a kids course, and have a blast as you climb, swing, and zipline through the trees.

Lunch:

Head to Westshore Town Center and get some tater tots from Totchos Restaurant. Each table is equipped with a gaming station so you can play while you eat.

Afternoon:

Wander around the shopping center and check out the shops then head to Langford Lanes for some bowling fun. Their lanes are equipped with bumpers and they offer lighter balls and ramps to assist in the bowling fun!

Lunch:

Enjoy a lovely picnic at Esquimalt Lagoon. You can bring a blanket and sit along the beach or there are many picnic tables scattered along the lagoon.

Afternoon:

Take a walk along the lagoon and see all the different local wood carving sculptures including McGnarly the Beach Ent, the guardian of the lagoon, while also enjoying a beautiful view of the ocean. Fun fact you can see Hatley Castle from the lagoon and vice versa!

Dinner:

For dinner head to Jones Bar B Que Langford, a popular favourite amongst locals for their delicious bbq menu items.

Breakfast:

Have breakfast at Jam Cafe. A popular spot amongst locals, you’ll enjoy all-day breakfast, including eggs benedict and pancakes, while taking in the rustic decor.

Morning:

Because there won’t be a lot of time before the boat leaves, this is a great time to do any last minute shopping along Government Street as you make your way to the docks.

Pro Tip: The afternoon Whale Watching tours leave at around 12:30pm (depending on which provider you use), and you gotta be at the docks by 12pm, so we recommend grabbing lunch from a Subway, Tim Hortons, McDonald’s, or any other fast food spot. For those looking for something a little healthier, pop into the Sandwich Corner Cafe and get something to go.

Afternoon:

Embark on a whale watching tour with one of Victoria’s leading whale watching company, to see orcas, humpback whales, and other marine wildlife while in the comfort of their heated catamaran.

Dinner:

Once you’ve returned from whale watching, enjoy a lovely dinner at Milestones. Located right next to to the harbour, it’s the perfect place to end the day while taking in beautiful views of Victoria’s Inner Harbour.
