Who We Are
NearMe Victoria is a group of creators and local guides that have compiled our joint knowledge to create an honest guide to all Things to Do in Victoria, BC and throughout Vancouver Island. Built on our passion for creating content, we will always focus on making exciting photo and video content to share out into the world, bringing the local eyes and aspiring adventurers to Vancouver Island.
Our Content Philosophy
As creators, we know how hard it is for creative minds to make a living. Creating content is an art and it deserves to be appreciated by businesses and attractions that gain exposure from the content. That is why all creators associated with the content on our page for commercial purposes are compensated for their content. We still encourage all creators to tag and message our page, we are constantly looking to expand our content mix and page creator team. But, everyone should be aware that, if we use content on our pages or website, we want to make sure the creators are getting something in return for it.
Doug is a professional artist and photographer as well as a lifetime resident of Vancouver Island known for capturing the beauty of Victoria through his artistic eye for over 30 years; Doug, along with his trusted adventure buddy Azu, love sharing their adventures with locals and visitors alike.
