Experience the beauty of a tropical jungle up close. At the Butterfly Gardens you’ll see many different species of beautiful butterflies fluttering around you as well as tortoises, flamingos, free flying tropical birds and more!
The Gardens
As you wander through their large garden facility, which is almost the size of 3 basketball courts, you’ll encounter poison dart frogs, tortoises, large iguanas, flamingos, tropical ducks, free flying tropical birds and of course thousands of tropical butterflies.
* Fun Fact the Butterfly Gardens has over 50 different species of butterflies fluttering throughout the garden.
Scavenger Hunt
When you’re visiting the garden and want a little challenge, open the Butterfly Gardens website on your phone and tap the explore section. There you’ll find the scavenger hunt sheets which you can check off at you wander through the garden.
Insectarium
Not quite as extensive as the Bug Zoo but their little Insectarium still packs a punch with some fun bugs. From the ant vine colony to a creepy crawly tarantula, their Insectarium will send shivers up your spine as you learn about all things buggy.
