Things To Do

Whale Tours

The waters of Tofino are known as one of the best locations in the world for whale watching as the waters are rich with food. There are various types of whales you can see while on their whale tours including orcas, humpback whales, gray whales, harbour porpoises, and other marine mammals. Fun fact: The whales gain over 30 percent of their body weight while feeding in our waters!

Bear Tours

Their bear tours start with a relaxing 30 minute boat ride from Tofino, through tranquil and sheltered inside passages, then close to the shores (but not too close) there you’ll see  black bears turning over rocks and boulders in search of crabs and other food. Often on their bear tours you don’t only just see black bears but also Bald Eagles, Sea Lions, Harbour Seals, Osprey, Wolves and more!

Hot Springs Tours

Guests will get to enjoy a 90 minute cruise along the coastline in a covered and heated boat as they head towards Maquinna Provincial Park and Hot Springs Cove. Along the way they’ll have opportunities for viewing various marine mammals as well as sea birds and beautiful coastal scenery. Once guests arrive at their destination, a two-kilometer boardwalk through lush coastal rainforests leads to Hot Springs Cove where a pool of thermally-heated water sits at the shoreline. Guests will have 3 hours to soak and relax in the warm pools and explore the area. The return trip is another 90 minute boat ride home with more opportunities for wildlife spotting.

Bird Watching Tours

Come and see an array of birds on their Bird Watching Tour. Tofino and the Clayoquot Sound are known for being world class bird watching spots due to the nutrition in the soil within a protected habitat. Some bird spices you may see on the tours include Bald Eagles, Great Blue Herons, Rufous Hummingbirds, Pacific Loons, Stellar Jays and many more!

Cultural Tours

Their cultural tours in Tofino take guests to visit the traditional territories of the Nuu-chah-nulth while also telling stories about their rich history and traditional way of life.
