If you have yet to visit Butchart… be prepared to be amazed. Everytime we visit, we discover new beauty in the colours of nature. A world-renowned garden that has yet to dissapoint.
By far the most well-known diner in Victoria, BC. It has become a staple for burgers, milkshakes and famous soft-serve ice cream. The perfect pit-stop when around Beacon Hill Park.
Free and stunning. Beacon Hill Park is 740,000 square metres of parkland, and a green space jewel in Victoria’s Downtown region.
One of our favourite Things to Do on Vancouver Island is to watch bears. We have the best bear-watching opportunities in the world right in our backyard, from Tofino and Ucluelet.

British Columbia Natural History Museum is a great mix of staple and rotating exhibits that are a great way to spend quality time downtown. The IMAX also brings with it rotating blockbusters and educational films on BC’s biggest screen.
The most exhilerating walk on Vancouver Island. Move up 10 stories above the canopy of trees for panoramic views over sea inlets & mountains.
Tropical paradise in Canada. The Butterfly Gardens is near the Butchart Gardens and is the perfect add-on to a day discovering Brentwood Bay.
The Oldest Chinatown in Canada also has the narrowest street. Fan Tan Alley is a popular photo spot with many unique stores and shops that make for a magical feel to your Victoria experience.
The famous Harbour Ferries also offer amazing views and photo opportunities from throughout the Inner Harbour.

Enjoy a fabulous meal or breakfast on the 18th floor. With Panoramic views of Downtown Victoria. Stunning for sunrise and sunset meals when the timings align throughout the year.
A mini-world, but with a big impact. Explore the many miniature diorama setups that have taken thousands of hours to construct and maintain. A great family outing.
The castle we have all seen in the movies and on TV shows. Hatley Castle and the surrounding garden offer a great day and photo opportunity to add to any journey.
One of our favourite sandy spots to visit near Victoria, BC. Esquimalt Lagoon is a migratory bird sanctuary with a beach that offers views of passing cruise ships and the Olympic Mountains.
